What a Weekend!

Image
This past week was all about getting things done.   A 5-foot shawl was finished A 6-foot shawl was washed and blocked. The waterers on the quail roll-out cages were redesigned. So now when they play in the water it spills OUTSIDE.   The almost-ready-to-lay quail in the tractor were moved to the shed.  This gives them 17 hours per day of daylight which they need to lay eggs.  This will be our new breeder stock.  The tiller was cleaned and sharpened and saw some action. Potatoes were planted. Housework and laundry and book-keeping and ironing got caught up.  Or as caught up as one can be with these things!  (My mother taught me that laundry is God's way of teaching women the meaning of the words "infinite" and "eternal"). Yet one more application for our business was completed and will be submitted this week. The cars are now sparkly clean. A bunch of fire ants were killed.   Die, you demon spawn! I have NO remorse at all whatsoever...

Currently on the table   We watch videos on You Tube of how different people garden; their ...
